This quote completely embodies my recent change in perspective to the question of “who am I?” All of us have that voice in our head. Most of the time, it’s the one that brings us down, tells us we can’t do something, and makes sure we are damn well aware of all of our fears. It’s not until you realize that you are not that voice, you are actually the one listening to the voice. Only then can your whole life change. So, who I am now?
I am the one who experiences.
In 2016, I had a personal life event that shattered everything I knew about the world. I had instantly changed paths, starting to walk on one of spiritual growth. Since that moment, I’ve learned how fear and needing to feel “ok” drove all of my decisions. I had such a warped perception on life, constantly playing victim. Over time, I started letting go of old beliefs that I’d been holding onto so tightly and opened myself up to a shift in perspective. At 26, I finally felt like I was starting to discover who I am, what I like, and learning self-love. I’ve found a new happiness I never knew existed. Now I’m always striving to find the next path for growth, which has lead me here, to this blog you are reading.

There are 2 things that I believe to be true. First, walking through fear and discomfort is the ultimate path to growth. Second, learning or participating in something new provides excitement to everyday life. For these two reasons, I’m excited to start my blog “Let’s go with Yes”. My hope is to share my experiences so that someone might draw a little inspiration from the stories, starting their own journey to saying yes and expanding their life.
